Week 3
I have officially hit my halfway point at the mtc, and officially am writing my first email. Sorry for not writing emails the last two p days I guess I didn't miss you guys too much. Just kidding but time has been going by fast, it feels like just now everything is slowing down and I can grasp that im actually on my mission.
Things have been so good so far, I got blessed with the best district i could've asked for. There is 18 of us all going to kiribati together and we will all be flying home together, its special to have what now feel like family going through this journey with me.
We just started full emersion (everything is in kiribati) its been such a unique experience, im not sure if I will ever be fluent but maybe at my homecoming I will know a few words.
This week was definitely the funnest week so far, me and some friends that are at the mtc going to different mission all went to the temple together, and then after went and got food and walked around in the real world which a nice little get away. We also got honked at by 80 percent of the cars driving by, it was funny to see what it would be like serving in Utah.
I will be keeping up with emails each week, so you guys can keep up with what's going on in my mission. I love all of you lots.
Cannon
